Gen Y

Have been tasked to do some research on GEN Y. What motivates us, how we absorb information and our expectations in life.

The findings and insights from the research have helped me understand myself better, being a Gen Y-er myself. Though not all of them apply readily to me, there have been a few interesting findings.

We are very conscious of being marketed to.

We are media and marketing savvy and very skeptical to new brands. However, we seek out brands that appeal to us emotionally (brand strategy) as they serve to help us express ourselves and communicate our desired image. 

Quite a confused generation i must say.
